This review is for Maven Lane bar stools, specifically the Alexander 26” swivel stool. I ordered 4 from Amazon on 11-13-2026 which arrived undamaged and in a timely manner. The stools were packaged very securely and it was evident that Maven Lane cared about protecting their product while it was on its way to the consumer. While assembling my stools (which was extremely easy) I found that one of my stools was missing a screw and washer. I contacted Maven Lane (and it wasn’t hard) who offered to compensate me to go to the hardware store of my choice and buy a screw and washer. This saved me time because I didn’t have to wait for them to ship me the missing hardware and they WAY MORE than compensated me for the 75¢ cost via a refund to my credit card, through Amazon. I was impressed. There’s more. The swivel stools are self-centering. When you get off of the stools, to the right or to the left, they will swing back and face my bar. About 2½ months after my purchase I noticed that one of my stools didn’t swivel the full 180°; it only swiveled 45°. It still self-centered but I could only swivel to the left to get off of the stool. I e-mailed Maven Lane about the problem and they promptly replaced the stool in only 5 days, at no cost to me. Now THAT is customer service! BTW: We absolutely love our new bar stools.
