The 36V 100Ah LiTime battery is a great solution for my boat's trolling motor battery. Prior, there were 3 12V Group 31 lead acid batteries which took up more room and added almost 120# more to the boat. Reducing that much weight from the stern of the boat changed the performance and how the boat sits in the water. I can run the trolling motor hard all day and still have power to spare which was not the case before with the 3 lead acid batteries.

I replaced the three Group 31 Blue Top Optima AGM batteries on my 36V Minn Kota trolling motor with a single 36V 100Ah lithium battery, and the difference has been impressive. Each Optima battery cost around $399 before tax and weighed 71 pounds each. By switching to the single 36V lithium setup, I not only saved money, but I also removed approximately 110 pounds from my 2021 Skeeter FXR 20. Less weight, more efficiency, and a much cleaner setup.
