Shiny metal Walking stick - 24K goldplated

After receiving a very noticeable defective bending (walking cane), I tried numerous times to return or exchange the item without any acknowledgment. I purchased this (Italian) made product with expectations of a quality made item. I was not only (disappointed) and (unimpressed) with the overall lack of business accountability.
