New Hampshire review of Halycon 450 Stock Tuner install
The installation was straight forward but to be honest I had not expected the small exhaust sensor extension install. The stock tuner install is easy and yes that part is only 5 minutes if you know where to introduce it correctly. With the new small exhaust sensor extension installed my 450 runs with/without the tuner. The written instructions are pretty clear. (There truly isn't much to this install.)
Post tuner install, I've ridden thru 2 tanks of gas and the bike definitely runs better or should I say "like it should". There is NOT this miraculous increase of power. Things are just smoother. One observation I made was where I was never able just back road cruise at 35mph at anything less the 4000rpm has changed. 3500 rpm (give or take) is now usable. My Halcyon is still new with just a little over 1200 miles on the clock. So that's my feedback and yes I'm glad I did this upgrade.
