as a lover of everything dense and heavy, this is exactly what i want in a thermal. putting it on for the first time, i didnt want to take it off for the whole weekend. its a great single layer for cold, and a light jacket over top made hanging out around a campfire in low 30°F a very bearable experience. with most things UES the size is one or so down from your norm. i typically wear a large or medium in base layers depending on the material so i sized to xl. the initial fit was great with room for shrinkage after a wash which is fine for a layer meant to fit close to the body
