NVG40 Pro Digital Night Vision Monocular

NVG40 Pro

Pleased. Much better NV than earlier tube units. There is a learning curve. When familiar with features and buttons, outperformed my expectations. A good unit to start with.

Great picture quality, and great refresh rate, and not that big either, built a full pano setup with these and it is amazing.

Totally disappointed.

Couldn't get a clear picture at 25yds even in daylight mode using diopter and focus controls. In IR mode with the IR illuminater turned all the way up I couldn't see 15yds. I did manage to see past 30yds, but that was by using a separate IR light that I bought for a NV scope I bought several years ago. After reading the return policy and realizing that I would have to pay shipping and a "restocking fee" I just wrote it off as a lesson learned.
