Truly amazing for the price!

Coming from the military where I used gen 3 tubes in our pvs 14s for combat operations, I was surprised by how well they worked. I've tested these moving in buildings with furniture and other obstacles and it worked perfectly. Just a little ambient light from and outdoor street lamp, a thermostat lit up, oven light, ect is more then enough to see where you're going with almost no latency. I didnt even notice it in low light conditions. The ir illuminator is more then sufficient for clearing rooms, outside I would recommend a surefire vampire for long distant targets though. In complete darkness they show their short comings over analog, however i can say with certainty, analog also struggles with that as well, at least enough to identify targets effectively. If you're on the fence about their performance, just get them. For what 90% of people would use these for, it's perfect. It's a great way to get in the night vision game without maxing out your credit cards. Highly recommend!
