Premium Matcha (Uji)

Ok if you're adding flavouring

I've tried quite a few matchas from MK and this is definitely my least favourite. The colour is quite a dull green and the flavour is ok. This is my 3rd time ordering this matcha and the quality wasn't great on this last batch (30th June 2025). However if you're making a strawberry matcha or similar and drink matcha daily and want to save some money it's fine. However I'd recommend the 1st Harvest matcha instead as a daily drink.

not the colour or quality advertised

Honestly, very disappointed in the quality of this one. Your social media and website advertise this to be a very vibrant green, and super high-quality, which is why I bought it. However this product actually quite a dull green, and is not taste like a very high-quality matcha, feels like quite a waste of $30.

Decent matcha but not very vibrant

A lower-grade matcha that is suitable for culinary use - in baking or lattes where you don't need a high-grade matcha powder. The slight astringency will be masked by other flavours. However, as per the title, the matcha isn't as vibrant as the images might suggest or what some of the other reviews have said, so that was a bit disappointing.
