Marquise Heritage Violin

Marquis Heritage - an understated classic.

Very pleasantly surprised ! It lives up to all of the detailed sales information and specifications provided by Coda Bow. I am particularly impressed by its slightly more forward point of balance compared to my Hill pernambuco bow. The Marquis Heritage bow produces a beautiful even tone and is very responsive to my intermediate level playing demands. A bow whose good looks are as classical as they are understated. Very pleased.

Incredible playability and tone

I am a higher-intermediate level violinist and play classical repertoire. I find that the Marquise Heritage feels so comfortable in my hand, and it produces the most beautiful tone on my violin with very little effort (compared to the Diamond GX). Spiccato and other off-the-string strokes are also so much easier to do with good tone. I also compared it with several wood bows and the tone was similar and with superior playability. Compared with the Diamond GX, it was very clearly a better bow for me and well worth the higher price tag.
