Excellent bow for seasoned and new violinists!
I am a classically trained violinist with 26 years of playing experience and I was always intrigued by Coda Bows, but never had the opportunity to try one. The trial process itself was very easy and 2 days after I sent my request, a box of bows showed up. I was pleasantly surprised to see/hear that the Marquise Escher bow held up very nicely with my French pernambuco bow that cost much more. I definitely want to encourage both students, amateurs, and professionals to try this line of bows -- you'll be pleasantly surprised!

Marquise Escher violin bow
This bow is very nice well balanced and plays perfectly. I have not had / played a finer bow than this one. It is absolutely worth the price.

It feels just right
It’s on the lighter side but great balance and feels just right in my hand. It’s much easier to control than my previous bows. Easier time through bariolage, spicatto and much finer dynamic control from a soft pianissimo to forte, though forte and fortissimo since it’s lighter I have to work it a littler harder to draw that out than I’m used to. I’ll definitely take that trade for control and balance. Just for reference I’ve been playing for 22 years and have a decent violin but been using entry level $300-$400 wood bows. Better late than never I guess to upgrade to a decent bow!
