This bow is extremely well crafted. More over, it is beyond beautiful. It makes me believe that magic exists. 10/10, would buy again.

Finally, a bow that does exactly what I want

As a cellist, I’ve played several bows that were more expensive. The Escher bow is the best I’ve ever played. It fits comfortably in the hand and is highly responsive. The tone remains stable from the frog to the tip. Bow changes near the frog are smooth and easy to manage. Accents and staccatos are also easy to execute in the upper half of the bow.. The sound is quite dark yet highly modifiable. Plus, with its dark color, it looks far more beautiful than in the photo. The only issue is that the wooden wedge at the frog occasionally slips out—but that was easy to fix. I am grateful and will certainly be happy to recommend this wonderful bow.

This bow plays beautifully. I recently got a carbon fiber Mezzo Forte cello for travel and gigs far away and also wanted a bow that could withstand temperature shifts and travel as well. The escher bow stands out above the rest of the coda bows. Thrilled to be playing on this bow. Its smooth, responsive and strong, and sounds lovely. Highly recommend!
