Replacement Chair Gas Lift Piston

Gas piston worked well - easy to take old one off, easy to put new one on all needed is a rubber hammer! 10 minute job and much cheaper than buying a brand new bar stool.

Good value but could not be fitted to faulty chair.

Unfortunately the chair in which I was intending to change the failed gas rise and fall cylinder did not allow the old unit to be removed. It would appear that the chair's cylinder had been welded into the chair structure. The chair has consequently been deconstructed and recycled. However, I shall keep the new cylinder unit for the future possible repair of one of our other chairs. Had it been possible to fit the unit it would have made a cost effective repair.
