EcoFlow Power 3
Ordering was great and now have a second, but larger battery. Can’t wait to hit the road with it. Setup was a piece of cake

not set and forget
The alternator charges the delta 3 QUICKLY and the delta 3 is sufficient for my needs to power an engel fridge in the car, along with charging multiple devices and powering 12V accessory lights on the vehicle.
I'm a bit neurotic when it comes to cargo and the car. Everything must be secure and not move and there must be no rattles while driving.
The delta 3 is smaller and lighter than the previous depp cycle battery and battery box, however it doesn't have and tie down points or any way to run a strap around it without potentially cause damage. It's currently not secured in the back seat foot well, it doesn't produce any noise from movement as it's heavy enough to not move with normal driving, but what about off- road or more "spirited" driving, or a crash?
The converter has a plate which you can bolt to the car which is great but positioning is fairly limited as the cables come out of the bottom and they are very rigid so require alot of space below the unit, there's no suitable spot to accommodate in my vehicle.
The biggest disappointment is that you must manually change modes. Ideally I'd like the alternator to charge the delta 3 while the car is running, then use battery maintenance or battery charging when the car is off, it is unable to switch automatically. You have to manually open the app on your phone, connect the devices and then change the mode every time you get in and out of the car. This is cumbersome and easy to forget so often I've been driving all day thinking that the delta 3 is being charged only to realise it hasn't because I forgot to manually change it. Automations are available but only for time periods, which can be a work around if you are driving at regular times, but I am not.
This may be seen as a first world problem but with tech these days and every minute being valuable when running a business, I didn't think it was too big of an expectation.
Not disappointment enough to be deterred from looking into an ecoflow battery for home instead of a wall unit and upgrading the solar system though...
