A succesful first build

I just completed my first complete watch build with the Cabot watch making kit. The finished product turned out as beautifully as I had hoped it would. Rotate gives generally good instructions. I did watch a few YouTube videos on attaching watch hands and trimming watch stems, which were helpful. The Cabot watchmaking kit does provide all of the tools you “need” to complete the build. However, I would recommend purchasing the loupe magnifier (which Rotate sells) and a set of watch hand pressers. The watch hand pressers make it much easier to properly install the hands than doing it with the tweezers. There are other tools one could consider purchasing such as a pin vice and a small diamond file (400 Grit) to hold the stem while cutting it and filing the end of it. I did use these additional tools to assist with my build.
