I had a bad experience with another vendor, and luckily found Luxewalls. I simply can’t say enough good things abotu Luxewalls. Luxewalls has a beautiful product. Customer service was personalized and incredibly helpful, and the product came quickly. The price also was very good. The Triangle Diamond panels have a beautiful rich color that shows the wood and wood grain beautifully. They are, indeed, 3-dimensional, which lends elegance to our beautiful music room. The backing is felt, which protects the panels when they are stacked in the box, and effectively holds the individual squares together. Each panel is rectangular, with eight 4” squares total, two rows of four. I had my floors refinished in that darker stain, and had to replace my old natural oak baseboards. The replacement baseboards were a bit short, causing a problem with coverage from the paint on the walls, and the glue from the original baseboards would be visible above the shorter baseboard. Rather than use the shorter board, I decided to cut the Diamond panels lengthwise and use the 1-layer (four 4” tall squares) lengths as a baseboard. They were tall enough to cover any indiscretions from the old baseboards. Note that if the sides of the panels are going to be visible, you’ll want to look at each one, as they seemed to be inconsistent. One piece had glue residue on the side, and some didn’t look finished or were streaky; most were just beautiful. You can always hit them with a touch of stain to finish them yourself, especially if you cut them up as I did for the baseboards, or just choose them and place them wisely. The interior edges of each square did not seem to be finished (i.e., stained). My music room is beautiful, thanks to Luxewalls!
