Nico Square Neck Drawstring Dress

The material of this dress is absolutely beautiful. I wasn't sure how I would feel/look in a square neckline, but I think that may be my favorite feature on this piece. It's super lightweight yet roomy enough for layering in cooler months. It can easily be dressed up or worn more casually, which I love. I typically wear an 8 or M in most dresses, and I got the Medium in this dress. It does run a little on the looser side, but I think it pairs nicely with the flowy/slightly oversized fit of the dress. I also have broader shoulders and feel like the medium fits really well in that region.

This is such a comfortable dress! I got so many compliments when I wore it for the first time. It’s roomy while maintaining its shape and I love that the drawstring lets me adjust as needed. Highly recommend!

Send a designer to learn how to engineer correctly to plus sizes. Dress neckline too wide, sleeves too tight, bodice too short, skirt too full and so long it was maxi length. If I wanted to have a $350.00 dress from Tradlands totally remade by a seamstress I’d have hem cutoff and excess fabric made into neckline ruffles to cover my bra straps, underarm gussets to enlarge the sleeves, a new drawstring channel to lengthen bodice! Instead, I’d rather buy a real designer dress from Johnny Was, Adrianna Papell, or Kosmarov!
