good length, but super tight

we got the 22Y. It fits in the torso, but is super tight. My daughter who wears a kids size 6 usually (50" tall, 52lbs) and has never worn a competition suit before, so I'm just telling her everyone's is that tight because it's for competition swimming (but honestly, it is insanely tight on her around the hips and chest (and she has no hips or chest). I'd go up to the 24Y, but not only are they out of that size, I worry the torso would be too long and the crotch hanging.

great swim suit. granddaughter just joined the swim club so needed swimsuit that conform to their performance swim. Will buy more as she grows
