supremely comfortable, best replacement for BBB's pure beech jersey knit

For years I exclusively only ever used the bed bath & beyond pure Beech Jersey knit sheets. They're just the softest and best. When BBB went out of business, I was no longer able to get them! After trying many brands on Amazon, I can report that none of them were as soft or held up as well as the Pure Beech brand. But then I found the BleuBully replacement for the BBB jersey knit sheets. They are a good bit more expensive than I remember the BBB ones being, and over twice as much as some of the other cheaper knockoffs I got on Amazon. But they're the closest match for sure. They're supremely soft and fit my bed well. The deep fitted sheet is a huge plus. The pocket in the pillow cases stops them from sliding off the pillows, which was always a problem with other brands. My only major issue with the BleuBully version (other than the price) is that I don't think they are holding up as well as they should be. After about 9 months of use, they are already starting to pile a little bit (therefore getting less soft) even though I've followed the washing instructions perfectly and even put them in their own wash with nothing else. Additionally, some small holes are starting to form around the elastic on the fitted sheet and in both pillow cases. I really expected these to hold up better, considering the price. That said, I don't know of any other better alternative so I will probably keep buying them.

These sheets are a wonderful splurge… Everyone should have at least a set. They are extremely soft and comfortable you almost feel like you’re floating on air if you have the right mattress to accompany these sheets. Worth every penny, you will pay……
