Classic Softcover Album

I ordered their classic softcover album last year and it was perfect. It was printed on matt paper and look absolutely stunning. This year, we ordered another photo album and while they made people aware that they changed paper and size on their website, I did not expect what feels to me like a cheap and glossy bunch of A4 pages that I could have printed out at with a fancy laser printer at a corner shop down the road. They must have switched providers or something. I asked their customer service to return the item or for a refund, but they merely apologised, would take the feedback into consideration, and hope that I’d give them another chance. Obviously they can’t take custom printed stuff back, but I would have expected them to at least win me back. This is so sad because I really loved their products but it feels like they had to cut costs or increase margins or whatever and what has been a truly wonderful product is now a glossy pile of unwanted memories.
