Catstronaut No 2

I work on this at lunchtime at work with my friends. So we work on this about 30-45 minutes several times a week. We are having a great time doing this as a group project. Everyone picked a different kit, Castronaut #2 was my pick. I like the progress I am making. Some days seem to see great leaps forward; other days are filling in tiny spots of lots of different colors. This kit definitely needs more black paint than the two pots provided. I don't think it will finish the rest of the painting and offer me enough to do touch up. I know Craftoria will provide more paint, but will it take as long as it took to receive my original shipment? I hope not! I definitely recommend upgrading the brushes. Some of this requires a finer brush even than the small one provided. I ordered this is in 48 colors, and I don't think it looks quite as nice as the one that was pictured. I'm not really fond of the orange and red colors meant to represent space dust or stars in the background. I wish that they had a model painting of it done in each of the 24, 36, and 48 color options. I love the picture, the painting itself is cathartic, and I'll have a whimsical painting to display when I'm done.

I painted this for the birthday of one of my dearest friendssss who loves cats , her Last name is "Buzo" (which is like the spanish Word for diver ) i wanted to find a diver cat , but instead I found this precious piece. I LOVED THE LOOK ON HER FACE SO HAPPY ABOUT IT. SHE DID NOT WANT TO PUT IT BACK IN THE GIFT BAG. SHE WAS SOO GIDDY, THAT WAS AMAZING.
