These are great weedless hooks for mini plastics

I used these earlier this week with some Anglers Emporium Ultralight finesse trout worms to fish for some picky smallmout bass. I also love fishing for both trout and smallmouth on ultralight gear and this is one of the only EWG hooks out there in smaller sizes. I often will run a size 6 or 8 and find I have not had issues hanging onto even larger bass. The one issue is the smaller fish like to tail nip worms and don't smash them the same way bigger fish do. In those situations a drop shot style rig where the worms are wacky rigged or rigged half way through the worm often does the trick.

These hooks are great. I bought the size 6 and am going to order more plus the size 4. The #6 fit a 1 in. craw great. Definitely look at sizes for each dimension on description to best fit your needs.
