Great fabric, color and concept - fit needs work

I love the sturdy broadcloth cotton fabric, the vibrant colors, the construction and the pockets! Oh, the pockets that fit my large phone are just wonderful. Unfortunately, this runs very small in the shoulder/armpit area. Despite being 1X sized for most of my parts, my shoulders are pretty narrow and usually 1X dress are too roomy in the upper chest and shoulder area. . . . not this dress!!! It is very tight and small in the shoulder and upper arm and armpit area. The dress is super comfortable everywhere else but not in the arms which is so unfortunate! I get so many complements every time I wear it. So it is a well constructed but poorly designed dress (at least for the 1X size). The button construction and installation seems well done. Shoppers should know that there is variation to the color of the fabric behind the buttons. Mine has red buttons against a green stripe. Very Christmas-y feeling. It's odd to me is that they chose red for the color of buttons - I would have chosen one of the many other colors in the dress for the buttons - purple, light blue, dark blue. . . . less likely to contrast with the fabric color behind them.

Cute but bust runs extremely small

Very, very cute but the bust runs extremely small and cuts my girls in half. The rest of the dress is free flowing so baggy everywhere else. I'll be rehoming it to someone with a significantly smaller bustline.
