Great investment. I had a brand new rod that I didn't have in a sleeve and 3 in a sleeve, all 4 in my hand and got caught in the screen door and the one without the sleeve got the tip broken off.

You will like or hate it. On one hand the extra cushioning on the top portion is great in terms of protecting the tips from impact but it also added extra weight to the top 1/3 of the rod. When you lift the rod up especially ones that are medium light, you will notice a significant bend. Other that that, it is well built and will last for a long time.

These rod sleeves are fantastic. Just came back from a fishing trip and and my rods were in the back of a truck. They made the trip with no issues. They do in fact float. I tried it ! Great customer service and respond to questions very quickly. I’m actually putting together an additional order now that I know how great the quality is.
