This bed felt cool right away, and after a couple days she started choosing it in the den instead of parking herself in the hallway. It has enough room for her to stretch out without hanging off the edges, which was a problem with the smaller mat we had before. The pink is a little more noticeable in the room than I expected, but the bed itself has held up well so far. For summer use, it has been a worthwhile switch for us.
