LOVE these candles. Base is heavy and not flimsy like the plastic ones are. The base has a semi flat edge to allow it to “hug” the window sill. The dual bright bulb is ingenious! So happy with this purchase. They do take 3 batteries and opposed to 2 for my old candles. I’m sure it is needed for the stronger bulb. Worth the price
