Our 9-pound cinnamon Chihuahua mix likes to circle twice before settling, and this round PlushNest bed gives her enough room to turn while still giving her a soft edge to lean against. I placed it in the sunroom beside the sofa, so she can nap near us without taking over the couch. She started using it the same day, especially when the floor felt cool.
The raised round edge makes a comfortable chin rest, and the plush center has more give than a thin blanket. The size we chose is generous for her curled-up position, though it takes up more floor space than I expected. A smaller pet that curls tightly might be happier with a smaller option. The non-slip base keeps it mostly in place on our tile, although she can still shift it when she digs at the edge before lying down.
Short hair and dust collect in the textured surface, so I brush it out regularly and spot-clean small marks. I also check the seams and bolster after her nesting routine rather than treating the bed as chew-resistant. It is a comfortable everyday nap bed, not a medical treatment despite the orthopedic name, and it works best for pets that like a plush round nest instead of a flat mat.

Our 6-year-old orange-and-white domestic shorthair usually rotates between the couch and a folded throw, but the Gray S PlushNest has become her favorite evening spot. The round shape gives her a soft boundary to curl against, and the raised bolster lets her rest her chin without the bed feeling like a deep enclosed cave. She took to it faster when I put it beside the reading chair instead of trying to make her use it in a new room.
The S size is right for her curled-up sleeping position, but it would be a squeeze for a cat that likes to stretch across the bed or for a small dog that sprawls. The plush surface is cozy and the non-slip base keeps it from drifting much on our hardwood floor, although the raised texture does collect loose fur and needs regular brushing or vacuuming.
I spot clean small marks and follow the care instructions for deeper cleaning, then make sure the bed is fully dry before putting it back. It is a comfort bed for everyday naps, not a medical treatment despite the orthopedic wording. For a pet that likes donut-style beds and curling into a defined spot, it is an easy addition to a quiet corner.

I was worried this would be another pet bed that ends up as a giant dust collector in the corner. My Golden is super picky and usually prefers the cold hardwood floor, but she basically lives in this thing now. It’s super soft, like a high-end pillow. I’ve only washed the cover once so far but it held up fine in the machine. A bit pricier than the stuff at Target but you can definitely feel the quality difference. Shipping was fast too.
