Mixed Media Sketchbook - Kitty Grass

The cover is cute and all and I thought it would be a great sketchbook to use with my new alcohol markers. The paper just feels awful- but yes it's bleed proof. The paper itself is too smooth and it doesn't hold any of the pigment from my pens/pencils/markers the way it should. It's hard to erase pencil, all of my pens smudge, and my colors from my markers come out gross and splotchy :( not only that but I've used my sketchbook maybe twice and the color on the cover is already rubbing off. Only points for kitty.

It came absolutely looking like the photo described. And it's very cute BUT—In terms of sketchbooks I don't think it's actually that great. The paper is a good thickness but it almost has this glossy layer on it on all of the pages that makes your stationary feel a little weird. It's hard to erase pencil on it, or not as good as it could be. Good news is markers don't bleed through but like I mentioned earlier the paper makes the colors look a little off. And you can smudge marker pen and pencil on it way too easily.... Like I said it's really cute but maybe it's just cute as a collect item.
