long sleeve Merino base layer - many benifits

Never thought about a baselayer with built-in long sleeves!! How about using while riding in mid low temperatures. The material feels great, and does breathe while keeping me warm.. Used in a number of rides with temps between 55* to *70. Using 3 stacked items:Merino long sleeve + jersey + vest. Take the vest off when temps over 72*. The long sleeves of the Merino baselayer provided comfort and no worries. If this was a short sleeve baselayer, then I would use 4 items: separate arm covers + short sleeve baselayer + jersey + vest. The problem with the arm covers is at times, I find myself pulling up the arm covers up under the jersey, in the middle of a ride (no good). This is why you get a long sleeve baselayer where the long sleeves behave much like armcovers.
