Not the Best Remontes

My favorite was a light gray variegated metallic, that looked more streamlined on my size 10 foot. These are not awful, but the red is definitely red without as much burgundy as pictured. I have ordered leather dye in a wine color to “fix” my new shoes. I understand the need to seem progressive and responsive to trends, but it wouldn’t hurt to keep a few “old faithfuls”.

Absolutely love my Remonte shoes. They elevate a simple outfit while proving me with the stylish comfort I am after. They are the perfect fit and style.

They are nice enough and the color is terrific. I was trying to find the closest model to the Alina which I loved and was advised by the team there to try these. I found them to be less generously cut than the Alina and not as cushy. They are slightly shorter, narrower, and shallower. So for me with my bunions they did not work. I don't know why shoe manufacturers feel the need to constantly update and modify models. Particularly when shopping online it is extremely challenging to get the fit right. Now I am out $10 for the return because the model I was advised to purchase was not as wide or deep as the prior model (which I found in a store)
