Awesome Bike!
Purchased an X Gen 3 as an upgrade from my 2022 X with 3,000 trouble-free miles and its everything I expected. Better geometry, faster, smoother, better brakes and the saddle might actually be a keeper! Would recommend to anyone looking at $2000-$3000+ bikes, buy an X Gen 3, make your typical upgrades and save your money for traveling to regional trails.

Awesome bike! Assembly tough for beginners.
I absolutely love my Poseidon X Gen 3. It is my first bike that I use for cycling throughout Baltimore City and on gravel trails in the surrounding area. No issues.
However, assembling the bike was a bit of a challenge. First, the rear cassette was pretty loose and that came “pre assembled” so I had to buy the tool to tighten it. The orange multi-tool is a nightmare for getting into tough spaces like the rear brake assembly mounts (which I had to mess with bc my brake was rubbing). My only real gripe here is that this bike is not 100% beginner friendly in the assembly phase, and requires you to have your own set of tools to adequately torque, access, tighten, etc. every part of the bike that is either DIY-assembly or pre assembled.
Other than that, this bike is 10,000% worth every penny for anyone looking to get into cycling and for anyone looking for a great gravel bike! You learn so much building it and it rides like a dream once it’s assembled.

1st ride.
Before I went a mile , 4 girls on the asphalt path did NOT move when I rang the bell. They were walking 4 across. 1 turned and looked at me coming. So I went off asphalt to go around. Proceeded to go back on asphalt. Front went on , rear did not. I went down on the asphalt. No broken bones. Bruised and abrasions. Bike derailleur bent crushed. That hit ground first. Need to replace. Also handle bar tape riped. When I heal I'll do repairs and try it again. Meantime I will try to get replacement parts. So until the crash , bike was awsome 👌
