The perfect high waisted bikini bottom

For the first time in my life, I put this suit on and said “hey, this looks good”! I’ve paired the Lani Pocket Compression Bottoms with the Camari Top. I originally ordered a size L despite the size chart, I ordered a size up - turns out the size chart is 100% accurate so I returned for a M which fit perfectly. High waisted just enough support that I dont have a muffin top.

Disappointed

I really wanted to love this suit because the design and pattern are beautiful and the fabric feels high quality. However the bottoms trap a large pocket of air and “balloon” out. I tried adjusting and “burping” the suit to release the air, but it actually made it worse and kept happening. It seems like it’s an issue with the compression fabric and lining. Unfortunately, it makes the bottoms uncomfortable and impractical for actual swimming. Also, slightly embarrassing to have this massive bubble all the way around your suit. If you’re mostly lounging, this may not be an issue, but for being in the pool or water, it was disappointing, especially at this price point.

Sizing too big and now it’s sold out

Not a great shopping experience when you use the sizing tool, order the size provided, then it’s too big and the item is sold out in all but one size for 2 weeks. I now have no choice but to return it because I’m coming up on the 30 day return window. So in the end I walk away paying a $10 return fee with no swimsuit.
