Better options at half the price
I’ll start this negative review by saying this was my fourth Aycane purchase- I wear an aycane neck guard shirt and blade x base layer pants three times per week.
I wanted to start wearing a short sleeve neck protection shirt, so ordered these wrist guards. I wore them twice and probably won’t ever wear them again.
They are huge! They are thick, and loose! (Not to mention HOT because of how large they are) The material is equivalent to just cutting the foot off of a tube sock. Just thick and bunched up. I think I’m pretty average size at 5’11”/175, and I would have to pull these up to my elbows to actually stay on my arm. They spent most of the first game bunched up in the top of my glove, so the second time I wore them I actually folded them in half so they weren’t so bunched up between the elbow pad and glove/hand. Maybe I would be happier with the junior size.
I did buy these on sale, and they were still more expensive than multiple other cut protection wrist guards from other brands. I already own and wear those!
I LOVE my Aycane shirts but these wrist guards are a total flop. If any team mate mentioned wanting more protection I’d just give these away.

Comfortable wrist-guards
Use them for bandy, so the gloves are different than hockey. They become somewhat warm as there are a lot of layers of fabric on the wrist from gloves and base-layer, so I sweat a bit more there than without the wrist guards. Completely forget that I am wearing them while on the ice though, so they work great. They are nice and warm on the wrists when it is cold outside.
