Truth....
Forced to self-isolate on this beautiful fall afternoon due to COVID, instead of hiking round and about a beautiful bog with nature trails and migrating Canada geese, I brought nature to my bedroom, mind, and heart. These poems aren't just about nature, though, at least not the nature one finds in bogs. Berry also captures the nature of human minds and hearts. So much truth is explored in this collection.

Beautiful imagery
I find reading to be very calm - but reading poetry about nature is almost meditative. I have seen Wendell Berry poems here and there but when I read this particular poem I went right to Sherlock and Pages and ordered several copies - one for me and several for gifts. Plus - I love this bookstore and it’s proprietors 😉
