Vertex Pouch Mini (2L)

They are all great, quality is excellent. One thing I would change is the waterproof zipper on the hub pouch pro. The zipper “head” is going to be where water gets in the most. How the pouch hangs when attached to eco system, or carabiner , that weak point is at the top of the pocket when closed. This makes it more likely everything in the pocket gets wet if there is a water breach. With how gravity works I believe that the zipper head should close to the bottom.

Perfect backpack pouch and desk caddy

I own two of the larger Vertex Tech Pouches and have used them thoroughly over the past year with zero complaints. When I downsized my work backpack, I decided to give the Vertex Pouch Mini a go to save on the volume used in my new back pack. It has worked out perfectly. It’s smaller size makes it easier to stash in the main compartment of my backpack and I can carry most of the same gear that I carried in my larger Vertex pouches. The only item I no longer carry in the Mini is my iPad mini, but my backpack has a dedicated sleeve for it and it now resides there. Once I arrive to work, I take my Vertex Pouch Mini out of my backpack and turn it into desk caddy mode. I carry a USB-C headset for Zoom and Teams calls, charging blocks, flashlight, Victorinox Midnight Manager, a NextTool Sailor, a retractable wire puller, tech cleaning wipes, and microfiber clothes. The back microfiber protected sleeve I will use to put my phone in so that it is not lying on the desk. In the front storage pocket, I carry multiple USB-C cables with different lengths and USB-C to USB-A converters. Everything I need in one place. As I work in an Ops Center, we do not have dedicated desks nor personal storage areas so the desk caddy function is key for my use case. I would not hesitate to buy another one, if needed. My full sized Vertex Pouches were in X-Pac so I would love to see the Mini come out in Ultradyne at some point. I prefer to use more weather resistant fabrics for my travel kit as I tend to have camera gear in those tech pouches that I want as much protection as possible. But for my work kit, the Vertex Mini pouch is perfect.

Purchased to be used as a camera bag. Perfect size, very well made like previous tech products, comfy shoulder strap, easily accessible inside so I’m really happy with the purchase.
