Squeaky Fish

I was EXTREMELY skeptical about this toy. But it checked all the boxes: a hard part, a slightly softer textured part, a squeaker, not many “appendages” for my dog to chew off. And not very expensive — worth a try. It’s been over a week now, the fish is still in one piece & the squeaker is still kicking! It’s Monte’s favorite toy! He’s ignored ALL other toys! He runs upstairs JUST to grab his fish, runs back downstairs to the back door because he requires it to go outside too! He chewed off the dorsal fin in < 20 min & I thought, “Well, that’s it. Game Over.” HOWEVER, unlike other toys, it was completely superficial & didn’t affect the toy’s structural integrity. Also, unlike other hard toys (i.e, Nylabone), him chewing the hard plastic surface doesn’t create sharp plastic shards that both cut his mouth, our hands, & make a mess on the floor. It’s also easy to clean if dirty. Although, it’s LOUD when he drops it on the hardwood floor & stubbing a toe on it hurts! Small price to pay!

Great toys, my dog loves them! I ordered 5 toys for the Labor Day sale and they forgot 1 of mine. The musical robot. Kind of sad because I was most excited about that one.

My pup loves this and it’s surprisingly not destroyed after a week!
