Delightful
I love a natural coffee! Occasionally I get roasts from Airship and I’m always delighted. Ethiopia Kochere is one of my top faves, it transports me back to a specific moment in time absolutely every time. Any coffee that can take me on a journey is one worth celebrating. I highly recommend.

Ok but wouldn’t get again
I got this coffee because of the tasting notes of chocolate blueberry and floral. When I got the bag, the beans were very oily. After letting the beans rest, I put them in my grinder and brewed. Draw down was incredibly quick, resulting in an extremely under extracted cup. The woes didn’t stop there. It took me around 13 clicks finer on my grinder to finally get to the tasting notes. After finally getting it dialed in, it was still just very “meh” nothing by to write home about but it was still very average at best.

Floral with strong blueberry flavors.
I was quite surprised at how well this turned out in my french press. Perfect balance of fruitiness and bitterness (note that the bitterness might be due to my tendency to brew for it).
