not having a Haynes or chiltons manual to refer to I had to muggle my way through this. make it easy on your self; loosen the hose clamp then remove the rubber hose from the left side of the filter housing. Next loosen all the screws on left, front and right side of the filter housing. lift lid using the hooks in the back as quasi hinges. remove old filter. install new filter. make sure it is seated correctly. try to seat the lid. go back to seat the filter correctly. then reinstall the lid, the screws, the hose, tighten the hose clamp. you're done!
