Saka Caffé Decaffeinato Bar

As a fan of espresso balanced more toward body than acid, more toward a texture like cream than tea, and who finds crema aesthetically pleasing, I have long despaired of finding a decaf blend that would be more than a good espresso. Saka decaf, though, has the sort of nutty, chocolatey notes I prefer (having not as yet come around to second and third wave espresso profiles), and pulls syrupy, with astonishingly thick crema. In all honesty, I prefer it to most caffeinated blends... except other offerings from Saka, I have recently learned. I have seldom had better espresso, of any sort, than Saka decaf. (For those who care about these details, I use a Niche0 grinder and a Lelit MaraX espresso machine).
