Breathtaking design + transport but assembly took most of a day

Device is beautiful, stunning — yet assembly took most of the day. Even with a well calibrated Bamboo printer, the tolerances are REALLY tight. So tight you have to be careful not to destroy the components or rip the skin off your fingers. I needed a lot more tools than what is in the manual which I believe over-simplifies the process. You get there in the end but its a journey and I was even working with one other person. But film transport is great, it works flawlessly with cut strips of 120. Nothing got stuck etc. So it's a gorgeous device but assembly needs a lot of time and patience but as a film person you probably have that already. I am apprehensive about creating the 35mm version.

I cannot fault this thing. Printed and assembled from the studio, supplied with very clear instruction on print settings and assembly. The Tone carrier has given me faith in achieving high quality digital output, without the need for lab services.

Loving the scanning system so far!

This was very well put together and it prints to perfection, once put together it scans my negatives flawlessly!
