Am I using it right?

The stick does not stay up on it's own. The only way I can apply this is to keep the stick pushed up with one hand and rub the stick directly on my face. There is no massaging it in because it is dry and stays right where you put it. I don't like the idea of using the stick directly on my face, capping it and using it directly on my face again. I've been using for a few weeks now but I often reach for a different cream I can actually massage into my skin.

Works well, non-greasy

It’s very difficult to find a face moisturizer that comes in plastic-free packaging. And then to be fragrance-free as well (my skin is temperamental) is even more challenging. This moisturizes works well. I find that it takes a moment to warm up and apply smoothly, which is fine. It’s small, lightweight, and lets me feel great about avoiding plastic.
