Fortunately the one cat of mine that has arthritis will have the powder from the capsules mixed in with her food but the other two cats hate it they will not eat it so it's not really suitable for cats that have got very sensitive taste buds. my two other cats that are also 12 years old are not yet showing symptoms of arthritis but I shall have to find another form of help for them from someone else as a preventative for them
