Really good motion but several issues

I purchased 4 of these. In hindsight I should have waited. Its no secret there were several issues with these this season. Performance with AA batteries was really poor. Usually only lasting a few hours. I bought a lot of AA batteries. The rechargeable ones finally arrived the last week of the season and they were much better. Range on remotes was sometimes literally 3 ft !! Need an off/on switch. Resetting the control board had to be done a few times. The good news is the motion on them was really good. These were just not ready for prime time and the banging around that decoys take took a toll on mine.

Just Meh.

It does create motion, but beyond that it has a lot of finicky quirks that make it more annoying than useful. I used it over a dozen times this season, and not once did I have birds land directly on it like they do with other motion decoys. By no means is this a bad product, but it definitely had way more hype than I think it deserves at this price point. For reference, I hunt SWFL.

Definitely a game changer. Going to order another one (or 3). Moves water and creates other decoys nearby to have a bit more motion on calm days. Wish there was a manual button to turn on than having the remote that I forgot to bring once.
