Ultimate Sports Bra - Charged Coral

Love it!

I love the coral color and hope there will be more bright color Ultimate bras in the future. This bra has been well loved and well run in over the past few months since I switched to SHEFIT and it has held up so perfectly!

Good control, bad chafing

This is my second shefit bra. For reference, I have a small rib cage and large bust (32DDD pre-pregnancy) and am currently postpartum and BF. I struggle to find bras that work well. I wore a medium pre-pregnancy and still find this fits most comfortably when I do high intensity exercise though there is some overflow, but a large was too big in the rib cage. I take the pad insert out for more space. My biggest complaint with my old bra and this current one is chafing. I always chafe to the point of bleeding on my breast where the clasp is in spite if the internal cover and always use Vaseline too. This helps a little but doesn't usually stop it. Currently running 2-3 miles and the weather in NYC has been dry and chilly, so humidity isn’t even a factor right now. I also chafe from the plastic piece in the back if it’s remotely humid. I also use Vaseline. When I posted a similar review after my first bra, shefit offered to do a video visit to discuss if my fit was right and offer suggestions, which I appreciated. After completing this, my size was correct and the suggestions they offered were to use Vaseline/body glide, which I do, and also to stop mid-run to adjust in case it’s stretching out during a run. I have done that on occasion but it’s not a very realistic suggestion in my opinion. Ultimately these aren’t deal breakers for me as this is my second shefit bra, but I do recommend with reservations.

Decent bra but doesn't offer anything special

Compared to other sports bras on the market, it is nice. The adjustable shoulder straps and ribcage bands are beneficial to making sure it fits well. However, as someone who enjoys running and has a large bust, I can’t help but be disappointed. I was hoping that this bra would be better than others I have tried and greatly reduce movement during high intensity workouts. Unfortunately, it is similar to other bras in that, yes you can tighten the straps all you want, but then it just makes it hard to breathe. I was hoping this bra would be novel in allowing for a tight fit that reduced movement that didn’t cut off breathing, but that is not the case. I also think the fabric should go higher – I’m working out not trying to show a ton of cleavage. So, if you can find a well-fitting bra which makes the adjustable straps and band unnecessary, there isn’t much additional benefit from this bra. It’s nice quality but again doesn’t offer anything special that you can’t get from other bras.
