This is a great guide for an offshore sailor or aspiring one! The only thing it misses is not focusing enough on smaller crews (I.e. solo or couples). Any level can learn something from this book!

Thank you for the book, Captain. I’ve already written down some of your impressions and advice in my logbook.

Thank you for asking. I am still in the beginning part. In general you Sir are saving lives. Such an importan job you have done and are doing! So so thankful and sending all the love to you.
I have been sailing about 14 years. About 10 years weekly regattas in Baltic Sea (Estonia) on Beneteau 37.1. Lately I have chartered Lagoon 42 with my wife and our 5 years old son. We plan to go sailing around the world on a catamaran. Due to budget I have chosen Lagoon 42 at the moment. We are planning to buy it after 2-3 years. You from latest YouTube video dont think too much of about Lagoons but I dont have budget for Outremer, Balance... I would be most happy with aluminium catamaran. Would be just rock solid safe feeling compared to Lagoon 42.
About your book - really needed and really good. So far I have not yet learned anything really new. But it is the beginning of the book. And I have learned huge amount from your YouTube videos. So so thankful.
For me, it would be interesting a book only about catamarans, living on a catamaran. I dont race any more, just dream to explore - really wish to sail Cape Horn and Patagonia and remote locations. I love and have deepest respect towards sea, water, nature.
Wishing you all the best and love, thank you once again. Greetings from Estonia, Priit
