Balls are good, but would have like to get the full pricce when ordering

I ordered 12 of these balls for contact juggling. I've been using Oddbals Acrylic Balls for years, the quality is good. What is not good, however, that the duties and tarifs are not shown when you order them from outside the UK. I typed in my adress in Germany, got a quote for 163 Euros plus 21.59 Euros shipping, and ordered them. A few days later I get a mail from UPS demanding 49 Euros extra, for duties and taxes. It would have been nice to know what the whole package will cost when ordering it, not be billed more afterwards. But that's not the balls fault, they are fine.
