This was my first safe purchase. The instruction on how to open the safe using the code was straight forward. The safe is the perfect size for precious metals or smaller items you want to keep out of sight. You could use it as a gun safe for pistols and ammo as well although I prefer a dedicated gun safe for my firearms because of the padding.
