These skis are not intended for soft powder snow but more for spring variable snow and I might add glacier skiing. They are stiffer than a powder ski but carve better. For crusty snow, corn snow, and powder in a base they work well. For deep powder, expect to work harder to make them turn. And for heavy snow be prepared for the tails to catch. They are not the lightest of the skis but also not the heaviest. And with the color, you shouldn’t lose them.
