Great pair of shoes

My shoes actually arrived with defects, tears in the mesh of both shoes. This was back in early 2024. Xero was extremely quick to correct this through store credits, which was extremely appreciated. Much kudos to the Xero team for correcting that swiftly and fairly. Still, the shoes were fairly usable and two years later, they have served me well for runs, long multi-day hikes, basketball, at the gym, and even as office shoes given their colour and cut. Indeed a multipurpose-great-at-all pair. I am getting another pair 2.5 years later. 100% recommended.

Incredible fit and feel, no grip

Sizing felt spot on for me, so no issues there. The shoes feel so good on the foot, toe box is wide but not obnoxiously wide like some other barefoot brands (that start with a V). My biggest gripe is the rubber compound used for the sole: no grip. I find myself losing traction in places where a normal basketball shoe has better grip, and im talking about in the woods of the PNW. I really don’t like wearing them anywhere besides in town due to this, which is frustrating because I bought them to be a trail shoe. I would like to see an update with actual grip on the sole before I purchase another pair of shoes from this company. Disappointed because I feel like this is something I have never experienced from any other shoe brand before.

Theyre good quality, but they run extremely small. I typically wear a 7.5 in women’s shoes. The Xero site recommended ordering 1/2 size up, so I got a men’s 6.5. They were at least a full size too small. I exchanged them for a men’s 7.5.
