Worth the hype

The AL13 is a very well reviewed and popular razor and I have to say it really is worth all the fuss. It came well packaged and looks amazing and having tried it a few times already I can confirm it’s as good as the reviews. I was concerned about nicks with this type of razor especially moving from cartridge type but I needed not to worry it worked really well. Might even try the mild version for my head. Malegrooming supplies excellent value and great delivery.

Henson AL13 medium

I wanted a milder shave than my existing razor and this ticks all the boxes. It's very light and easy to manoeuvre and, so far, has resulted in no nicks. I'm using Feather blades. It takes a little longer and more passes than the Merkur Futur but worth it to avoid the cuts. I'm hoping that the aluminium will mean it stays corrosion free, unlike the Merkur
