I had a very poor experience with this manifold and I question whether it is truly an OEM Pentair part. I could not get it to stop leaking at the thermostat housing despite trying multiple fixes. I tried a new OEM cap and O-ring, additional silicone, the original cap, and installing it both with and without the spring and thermostat. I also discovered that the upper and lower pipes were leaking heavily because the O-rings were installed at the threads instead of inside the housing. I only figured that out after disassembling the original manifold to compare the design. In the end, I used the internal components from the new housing but reinstalled them in the original manifold. With the original manifold there are now zero leaks.
